When you use the Internet in a public place, do you prefer to have as much privacy as possible? Well, that makes you a potential terrorist. According to the FBI, Internet privacy is now considered to be suspicious activity. If you are out in public and you attempt to keep snoopers from peeking at your computer screen, then according to the FBI they should gather as much information about you as they can and they should report you to the authorities immediately.

CISPA (Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act) is a bill that would take away a very great freedom: privacy on the internet. It would make federal spies of pro-Zionist Jewish internet giants such as Google, Facebook, Verizon, Comcast, and Time-Warner Cable.

According to Ted Pike, "These federal informants would receive “wish list” requests from the government for information on internet users. In return, internet moguls would supply to the government (without our consent) our names and information about us free of any possible liability."

Mohammad Pakpour, commander of the ground forces said the drills were part of annual exercises designed to increase the preparedness of military units.

The IRGC naval forces held 10 days of exercises in the Gulf earlier in January, which came after days after President Barack Obama approved sanctions aimed at stopping countries buying Iranian oil.

Three thousand Iranian women being trained as ninja warriors say they will use their martial arts skills to defend the country if necessary.

Scores of black-clad female "ninja" fighters whose ages range from 5 to 56 are just a handful of 3,000 women in Iran who are being trained as lethal warriors at a school in Tehran.

"We train women to have strength and ability. We have to do everything in our power to protect our homeland," said Akbar Faraji, who runs the school.

Iran has proclaimed advances in nuclear technology, including new centrifuges able to enrich uranium, a move that has heightened its confrontation with the West over suspicions it is planning to make nuclear weapons.

An FBI informer sent to infiltrate a California mosque was made the subject of a restraining order after scaring Muslim worshippers with demands for holy war.

Craig Monteilh was known to members of the Irvine Islamic Center as Farouk al-Aziz, an apparently devout and at times over-zealous Muslim.

But when he began speaking of jihad and plans to blow up buildings, senior figures at the mosque reported him the FBI - the very people who sent him.

The undercover FBI informant - a convicted forger named Craig Monteilh - says he spied on dozens of worshipers in a quest for potential terrorists.

Monteilh has gone public, revealing secret FBI methods and charging that his "handlers" trained him to entrap Muslims as he infiltrated their mosques, homes and businesses. He is now suing the FBI.

Officials declined to comment on specific details of Monteilh's tale but confirm that he was a paid FBI informant. Court records and interviews corroborate not only that Monteilh worked for the FBI - he says he made $177,000, tax-free, in 15 months - but that he provided vital information on a number of cases.

John Bolton Accuses Obama Administration of Leaking Story on Israeli Planning Along Iran Border

Former U.S. diplomat John Bolton alleged that the Obama administration leaked a story about covert Israeli activity in order to foil potential plans by the country to attack Iran’s nuclear program.

Bolton, who served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in the George W. Bush administration, was responding to an article in Foreign Policy magazine that quoted government sources claiming Israel had been granted access to airfields in Azerbaijan — along Iran’s northern border.

The article did not state exactly what the Israelis’ intentions were, but it suggested it could point to a possible strike on Iran.

“I think this leak today is part of the administration’s campaign against an Israeli attack,” Bolton claimed on Fox News.

The White House did not respond to Bolton’s claims.

Bolton, a Fox News contributor, noted that a strike launched from Azerbaijan would be much easier for the Israelis than a strike launched from their own country — jets could stay over their targets longer and worry less about refueling. But he said tipping the Israelis’ hand by revealing “very sensitive, very important information” could frustrate such a plan.

City Officials Struggling To Make Ends Meet

The worst recession since the 1930s continues to squeeze the finances of American cities, which are expected to slashing spending further, lay off more workers and shelve more infrastructure projects this year.

A new survey finds more than half of U.S. cities have cut staff, canceled projects or raised fees this year to cope with shrinking revenues bought by the ongoing economic downturn.

Cities have gotten hit hardest by the collapse in their two major sources of revenue, according to Christopher W. Hoene, director of the Center for Research and Innovation at the National League of Cities, which conducted the survey. The housing bust and falling property prices have cut into property taxes. The surge in unemployment and tighter consumer spending have taken a big bite out of income and sales taxes.

“Those two sources of revenue were moving upward together during the boom, and they’re now moving downward together during the downturn,” said Hoene.

As revenues have fallen, health care and pension costs for city workers have been rising. The impact of those benefit costs has been made worse by widespread layoffs, which have reduced the number of workers paying into health care and pension funds.

A new terrorist threat of radicalisation via the Internet has developed over the decade since the September 11 attacks, according to a new survey.

Immediately after 9/11, experts believed people would only be radicalised by person-to-person contact.

But now there are fears 'digital jihadists' living in the U.S. are being recruited online and are then able to be directed from abroad.

A poll by the Homeland Security Policy Institute at George Washington University revealed a rise in homegrown terrorism cases.

Conducted ahead of the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the survey found there were 21 homegrown terrorism cases between September 2001 and May 2009.

The last two years have seen an alarming rise with 31 cases over the period and more than one every month, according to the Counterterrorism Intelligence: Law Enforcement Perspectives report.

The report said: 'Homegrown and foreign-directed jihadi terrorism and radicalisation are perceived as a real threat by local law enforcement in the United States.'

BP 'Has Gained Stranglehold Over Iraq' After Oilfield Deal is Rewritten

BP has been accused of taking a "stranglehold" on the Iraqi economy after the Baghdad government agreed to pay the British firm even when oil is not being produced by the Rumaila field, confidential documents reveal.

The original deal for operating Iraq's largest field – half as big as the entire North Sea – has been rewritten so that BP will be immediately compensated for civil disruption or government decisions to cut production.

This potentially could influence the policy decisions made by Iraq in relation to the OPEC oil cartel, and is a major step away from the original terms of an auction deal signed in the summer of 2009, critics claim.

"Iraq's oil auctions were portrayed as a model of transparency and a negotiating victory for the Iraqi government," said Greg Muttitt, author of Fuel on the Fire: Oil and Politics in Occupied Iraq. "Now we see the reality was the opposite: a backroom deal that gave BP a stranglehold on the Iraqi economy, and even influence over the decisions of OPEC."

The head of the Iranian military on Saturday accused “the Zionists” of being behind the terrorist attacks in Norway, the Iranian state-owned English-language broadcaster Press TV reported on Saturday.

The chairman of the joint chiefs of staff of Iran’s armed forces, Hassan Firouzabadi, said in a statement that “the Zionists are behind the terrorist attacks in Norway, as they fuel rightist sentiments, foster terrorism and use world people as their toys in pursuit of their objectives.”

Firouzabadi was referring to the double attack in Norway last week, in which at least 76 people were killed, many of them youth.

Anders Behring Breivik, an extreme rightist, has claimed responsibility for both attacks, a shooting spree at a Labor Party youth camp on Utoeya island where he allegedly killed 68, and a bombing of Oslo’s government district, where he allegedly killed 8.

Breivik claims to have acted alone.

“The world should be on alert of the Zionist regime attempts to create deviation within Christianity and spread Christian Zionism,” the general added in the statement carried by Press TV.

The US House Foreign Affairs Committee slashed foreign aid for the Palestinians, Egypt, Lebanon, and Yemen.

The US House Foreign Affairs Committee yesterday cut the Obama administration’s $51 billion 2012 budget request for the State Department and foreign aid by $6.4 billion, but kept unchanged the $3 billion in military aid for Israel.

Commentators say that the committee vote is a direct challenge to President Barack Obama. The Republican majority in the House of Representatives is trying to limit Obama’s freedom of action in handling foreign policy and to minimize US contributions to international organizations – especially the UN. An Israeli source told “Globes” that the Foreign Affairs Committee slashed foreign aid for the Palestinians, Egypt, Lebanon, and Yemen, until the President certifies that these governments are “not directly or indirectly controlled by a foreign terrorist organization”, and eliminated military and civilian aid altogether for Pakistan, until the Secretary of State certifies Pakistan’s cooperation in the war on terror and the effectiveness of civilian programs.

After three months of laboriously pounding and mixing fertilizer, aspirin and other chemicals on a remote farm, Breivik drove a hire car packed with the results to the center of Oslo on Friday, triggering the device outside government offices, killing seven and shattering thousands of windows.

Anders Behring Breivik, the man who admitted to Friday's bombing and mass shooting in Norway that killed more than 90 people, arrived at a closed custody hearing in Oslo on Monday, Norway's NTB news agency said.

Police have said a trial could be a year away. The maximum jail term in Norway is 21 years, although that can be extended if there is a risk of repeat offenses.

The 32-year-old, who portrays himself as crusader against a tide of Islam in a rambling 1,500-page online manifesto, says he wants to explain acts he deemed 'atrocious' but 'necessary'.

Breivik has asked to wear a uniform in court, but his lawyer, Geir Lippestad, said he did not know what type. The killer was dressed as a policeman during his shooting spree.

In a 1,500-page manifesto sent out by email before he bombed central Oslo and massacred 86 teenagers and their carers on the island of Utoeya, Breivik boasted that he was one of up to 80 "solo martyr cells" belonging to a group he called the successors to the medieval Knights Templar.

New Terror Report Warns of Insider Threat to Utilities

Sabotage by an so-called insider at a major utility facility, including a chemical or oil refinery, could provide al Qaeda with its best opportunity for the kind of massive Sept. 11 anniversary attack Osama bin Laden was planning, according to U.S. officials.

A new intelligence report from the Department of Homeland Security issued this week, titled Insider Threat to Utilities, warns "violent extremists have, in fact, obtained insider positions," and that "outsiders have attempted to solicit utility-sector employees" for damaging physical and cyber attacks.

U.S. officials were stunned last year in Yemen with the arrest of an alleged American recruit to al Qaeda, Sharif Mobley, of New Jersey, who had been employed as five different U.S. nuclear power plants in and around Pennsylvania after successfully passing federal background checks.

The bodyguard who assassinated President Hamid Karzai's brother, Ahmed Wali Karzai, had been working closely with US Special Forces and the CIA before he was recruited by the Taliban, raising fears over the Islamist movement's increasingly sophisticated intelligence apparatus which has managed to threaten the inner circles of power in Afghanistan.

Yet evidence is emerging that the Taliban recruited Mohammad – who was believed to be a friend, confidant and trusted lieutenant of Ahmed Wali Karzai – in an infiltration of the Afghan government's security apparatus.

"Our investigation shows that for the last three months he was acting out of character, not normal, erratic," said Mahmoud Karzai, another Karzai brother. "He wasn't sleeping, he was nervous, he was getting phone calls in the middle of the night, and our information shows he made a trip to Quetta [in Pakistan] and met with some Taliban. His father was a mullah. So all these things combined, plus the Taliban claim of responsibility... but our preliminary investigation indicates this was the work of the Taliban."

Even as U.S. militarization of the Horn of Africa has contributed massively to the threatened starvation of millions, the Americans have announced an escalation of drone attacks against Somalia and the establishment of a Marine task force for the region. A United Nations spokesman describes the food and refugee emergency in Somalia as the “worst humanitarian crisis in the world,” with millions at immediate risk. Not coincidentally, the epicenter of the disaster is the area where Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia meet – which is also a focus of U.S. Special Forces, surveillance and logistics activity.

The Americans blame the al-Shabab resistance for exacerbating the drought emergency, but for at least two years the Americans have used food as a weapon of war in Somalia, in an effort to starve out those who might be supporting the Shabab. The U.S. has armed an array of militias operating near the Ethiopian and Kenyan borders, making normal agricultural pursuits all but impossible, and the current world-class catastrophe, inevitable.

Israel will probably attack Iran in September, a veteran CIA officer who spent 21 years in the Middle East, including in Lebanon and Syria, told a Los Angeles radio show on Tuesday.

While former CIA officer Rober Baer didn't reveal the sources behind his prediction, he referred to former Mossad chief Meir Dagan's warnings of an Israeli attack on Iran as "no bluff."

Baer told the KPFK Los Angeles show Background Briefing that previous comments made by Dagan that an Israeli attack on Iran could lead to a regional war, "tell us with near certainty that Netanyahu is planning an attack, and in as much as I can guess when it's going to be, it's probably going to be in September before a vote on the Palestinian state."

Baer added that Netanyahu is "also hoping to draw the United States into the conflict, and in fact there's a warning order inside the Pentagon to prepare for conflict with Iran."

President Barack Obama’s budget director, Jack Lew, makes the rounds on this Sunday’s television talk shows, as the administration and congressional leaders continue to struggle to forge a deal to raise the nation’s debt ceiling and cut spending.

President Obama's budget director Jack Lew said he believes there's still a chance to, "get something big done," in the budget negotiations currently taking place between the White House and leaders from both parties in Congress. Negotiations up to this point have not produced a compromise.

Both parties do seem to agree that the debt ceiling has to be raised. However, the divide lies in the amount of spending each side wants to cut, and whether or not to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans.
